I had an absolutely delightful evening at this lovely pub recently! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm atmosphere that felt both inviting and lively. The décor is charming and gives a nod to classic British pub style, which I really appreciated. We settled into a cozy corner and began with their renowned fish and chips, which did not disappoint! The batter was perfectly crisp, and the portion size was generous. I also enjoyed a pint of their locally brewed ale, which was the perfect complement to my meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. I did notice that the seating can get quite crowded during peak times, so I would recommend arriving early or making a reservation if you can. Additionally, while the menu is fantastic, I would love to see a few more vegetarian options added. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to return for another visit, perhaps to try their Sunday roast next time!

I recently visited this pub with a couple of mates, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The first thing that struck me was how well-maintained the place is; it has a lovely rustic charm that makes it feel like a home away from home. We decided to try a few of their small plates, and I was blown away by the quality of the food. The pork belly bites were crispy and packed with flavour, while the loaded nachos were perfect for sharing. We also tried a couple of cocktails, which were expertly made and reasonably priced. One minor drawback was the music; it was a bit loud at times, making it hard to have a conversation. Still, the vibrant atmosphere definitely made up for it. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which made our dining experience even better. I'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu and enjoy another round of drinks with friends. Overall, this place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out!
